The Port of Gros-Cacouna, with its enclosed basin and wharves, is located on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River. It features handling services along with vast inside and outside storage space.
It specializes in transhipping enormous wind turbine components, forest products, lumber, general cargo and dry bulk.
Located at a crossroads, the Port is linked to major highways in eastern Canada and the northeastern United States. The Canadian National (CN) railway is 6 km from the Port.
