The Port of Côte-Sainte-Catherine is located on the south shore of Montréal on the St. Lawrence Seaway and is accessible from April to December.
This terminal specializes in shipping supplies to the far-northern aboriginal communities, as well as the mining societies of the Canadian Arctic. Quebec Port Terminals has developed a unique and special expertise that enables it to load some 200,000 m³ of cargo that will be transported to the Great White North by vessel every year. This is, in itself, a highly uncommon practice.
This Port also handles forest products, steel, general cargo and special project cargo.
The facilities include vast inside and outside storage space, and are serviced by Canadian National (CN) and Canadian Pacific (CP).
