Located on the south shore of Baie des Chaleurs, the Port of Belledune specializes in transhipping bulk commodities, general cargo and forest products. Owing to its inside and outside storage facilities, highly skilled workers and on-site equipment, Belledune is one of the most efficient ports in eastern Canada for cargo transhipment.

Accessible year-round, it is linked to North American railways and road networks in New Brunswick and the northeastern United States.
